Minister of Health: Bahrain has taken proactive precautionary measures to combat 'Monkeypox' and no cases detected so far



The Minister of Health, Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain has taken wide-ranging proactive precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Monkeypox, particularly in light of the rise in the number of infected cases globally.

The Minister affirmed the Government of Bahrain’s commitment to ensure the health and safety of all citizens and residents. She explained that the government has put in place a strategy to secure the needed medical and logistical resources to curb the spread of the disease and deal with infected cases, stressing that epidemiological monitoring efforts are being intensified across the Kingdom.
