The first stone of the Algerian-Qatari-German hospital project in Algiers will be laid next November, and its delivery is scheduled in two years. Indeed, the Minister of Health, Abdelhak Saihi, received the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Algeria, Abdulaziz Ali Ahmed Naama, accompanied by a working group in charge of the logistic studies for the laying of the first stone of the new “Algerian-Qatari-German” hospital, says a statement from the Ministry of Health.

The meeting, which was attended by senior officials from the central administration, was an opportunity to discuss the logistical preparations for the Algerian-Qatari-German hospital project, the same source adds.

The Qatari ambassador informed the Minister of Health of "the progress of the project of this hospital with a capacity of 400 beds, the first stone of which will be laid in early November in the region of Sidi Abdallah (Algiers)" and will have to be delivered "in two years", adding that the working team is in the process of preparing the plans and the engineering dossier of this strategic project.

On the other hand, the Minister of Health reaffirmed the need to provide quality health services in this structure according to the needs expressed, in particular the specialties that require the transfer of patients abroad, such as neurosurgery, scoliosis, liver transplantation, and cardiovascular surgery in children and other specialties.
