Egypt's Health Minister checks on COVID-19 situation ahead of Eid Al-Fitr

Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Acting Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, has directed to increase the number of ambulances deployed on highways and main roads, during the week-long Eid Al-Fitr holidays.

Abdel Ghaffar made his remarks during the weekly meeting of the Health Ministry, to follow up on the developments of the executive position of the units, health centers and ambulance points included in the action plan of the presidential initiative “A Decent Life” to identify and overcome any obstacles or obstacles, to ensure that work continues to improve the level of medical services provided to citizens in the areas targeted by the initiative.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the initiative targets more than 50 million citizens, and work is underway in two phases.
