Egypt's Health Minister inspects quarantine at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport

Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar inspected on Saturday, the quarantine at Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport, to review the final preparations for the implementation of the health insurance system, for the COP27 in November.

This came as part of a field tour by the minister in Sharm El-Sheikh, to inspect the quarantine, several medical facilities, and places of residence and reception for delegations, as part of the field review of the health insurance system’s preparations for the COP27.

During the minister’s inspection, the minister directed to increase in the number of thermal gates to avoid crowdedness, as well as directing him to allocate specific routes for arriving guests.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the minister inspected the clinic rooms in quarantine, to check their readiness and the availability of all medical and preventive supplies.
