Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar inspected the medical services in Fayoum’s Al-Nabawi Al-Muhandis Hospital on Monday.

The visit came as part of a series of field tours of medical facilities in the governorates of the republic to follow up on the progress of work and to ensure the quality of medical services provided for patients.

During his tour, the minister directed the rapid development of a service system in the hospital and the allocation of medical teams to receive citizens, see to their needs, and guide them with the necessary procedures and steps to facilitate medical services.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar — Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population — explained that the minister inspected the medical services provided to patients in 15 different departments in the hospital, including the clinics for internal medicine, artificial kidneys, maxillofacial surgery, burns and plastic surgery, and more.

Abdel Ghaffar added that the minister inspected the renovations in the ER Department and also followed up on the flow of work, stressing the importance of the hospital due to its geographical location in the centre of Fayoum city.
